Reprographics is a term used to describe the process of “REPROducing” plans and specifications for the building and construction industries. These documents are typically produced in wide format, 30x42 (Architectural E1), 24x36 (D size) or 18x24 (C size). The outdated or historical vernacular for these documents is, “blue prints”. The process of creating construction documents no longer renders them blue; the term now refers to “digital imaging”. There are still a few people creating true "blue prints" but the majority of the industry, including Ford Graphics, has transitioned to REPROducing plans via wide format digital printing equipment onto a variety of media.
